Roxboro has an English and French population of 6,000. This older West Island community features solid single-family homes and country-like cottages near the water, built along the Deux-Montagnes/Montréal Commuter train line. Bungalows, townhouses and some apartment buildings situated along the river are all sightly more affordable than the average West Island dwelling.
(pop. 6000) is a neighbourhood in the north-west part Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is part of the Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro. It was a separate town until 2002.
Residents prize the community for its excellent services, centred on Centre-Commercial Street and ethnic shops and restaurants nearby, as well as the quiet. It also boasts a relaxed lifestyle and an easy train commute (26 minutes to downtown).
